This position will report to the Bank Chief Compliance Officer, and primarily be responsible for supporting the company's compliance with the requirements applicable to a Savings and Loan Holding Company over $50 Billion in assets and serving as the compliance partner for the Treasury, Markets and Finance business units.
Collaborate cross-functionally (i.e., product, channel, marketing, finance, technology development, etc.) to lead or act in the capacity of an advisor on strategic projects; work closely with consulting vendors engaged to solve strategic and operational problems.
Perform analyses regarding the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and key financial and business metrics; tie together financial information, underlying business drivers, and the macroeconomic environment.
Work with business leaders on a wide variety of employee related issues including recruiting, onboarding, compensation, performance management, and investigations and recommend appropriate courses of action.
Coordinate with other departments, including compliance and risk, on regulatory change management; liaise with the business and other departments to ensure that, where legal risks have been identified, appropriate courses of action have been taken.
Manages escalated issues with both internal and external clients, using problem solving and decision making skills; manages others through training, directing and measuring work, delegating, managing performance, interviewing, hiring, and conflict resolution.
Work with internal/external business partners as needed to identify and document process and system enhancements for increased productivity, quality and efficiency; communicate business status, initiatives, accomplishments and needs to senior level management both verbally and via regular reporting.
The role requires developing and nurturing relationships with clients and interfacing with participants, plan sponsors, RIAs, and internal partners, to provide exceptional service and accurate reporting on their assigned plans.
The Senior Java Developer is responsible for project-team leadership, support and direction with business systems analysis, development and occasional maintenance support in an object/service oriented architecture implemented on the Java platform.
