As the Enterprise Architect you will be responsible for architecting and designing systems and securityarchitecture for this institution. The position facilitates the implementation of the technology strategy. Additionally, the position is responsible for keeping abreast of industry trends and best practices, recommending appropriate hardware and software upgrades, serving as a systems expert and advisor, managing assigned projects and training infrastructure and application development team members.
-Collaborate with stakeholders, business representatives, and subject matter experts to design information technology systems and solutions.
-Review solution options, research and analyze alternatives and recommend solutions to business and technology leadership.
-Facilitate the establishment and implementation of standards, guidelines and policies that guide the design of technology solutions including architecting and implementing solutions requiring integration of multiple platforms, operational systems and applications across the enterprise.
-Prepare proposals and cost estimates for IT systems and solutions.
-Review, provide input and approve the application architecture, technical architecture and data architecture.
-Review and approve technical processes, standards and software architectures used to develop, implement and support solutions.
-Apply appropriate governance activities to encourage compliance with technology standards and directions.
-Provide domain coaching to assigned technical staff. You will be asked to assist with management decisions and activities.
-Provide expertise regarding the integration of applications across the organization.
-Be responsible for providing senior level expertise on decisions and priorities regarding the enterprise's overall infrastructurearchitecture.
-Design and manage information security policies and procedures for information technology assets. -Update these policies and procedures regularly to meet changing demands of the organization.
-At least 10 years of progressive development and systems architectureexperiencerequired with a broad range of technologies and platforms.
-Cloud Computing and service-oriented architectureexperience is highly preferred.
-Project management experience, including the ability to plan and schedulearchitecture related projects and monitor their implementation, required.
-Experience with both Agile/Scrum and traditional waterfall software development lifecycle is preferred. -Experience with MVC, Sitecore, JSON/Restful APIs, web services, service and message bus options, XML/SOAP, HTTP, and mobile technologies preferred.
-Strong knowledge of operating systems (e.g. Windows, Mac OS, and Linux) and application servers required.
-Familiarity with security concepts and standards, such as OAuth, SAML, Shibboleth, PCI DSS, PII, encryption, and tokenization required.
-Familiarity with networkarchitecture principles and concepts, including tiering, segmentation, DMZs, firewalls, load-balancing, failover, and disaster recovery required.
-Ability to define and understand key aspects of a problem and develop an integrated solution within a highly complex technical and business context required.
-Strong business and analytical thinking skills required.
-Ability to understand the business consideration of decisions, including cost/benefits of information technology solutions and the ability to assist in selecting cost effective solutions required.
-Excellent communication skills with the ability to solicit requirements and work with end users/customers required.
-Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff required.
